BIO

Hi I’m Jamie. 11 year old Motocross and Supercross racer from the UK.

I learnt to ride a bike at the age of 3, and quickly wanted to follow in my Dads foot steps to ride a motorbike.

I started on an electric trials bike, then moved onto PW 50cc at 4yrs old.

Due to my ability at 5 and a half years old I was given special permission to start motocross racing on a KTM mini 50cc.

I now ride a GasGas 65cc and will be moving up to an 85cc in 2024.

I live a very active lifestyle, to maintain a high level of fitness in order to be able to have the strength and energy for the high impact sport of motocross racing. Weekly Cycling, daily strength training sessions, along with weekly Kick Boxing sessions help me keep fit. I also eat a well balanced diet which keeps me in top shape.

I attend a Race School every month, which I have done for nearly 3 years now.

This year I took part in the Arenacross 2023 UK tour, which was amazing to be a part of something so special. Racing at the top UK Arenas, including Wembley in London. All the hard work paid off and I achieved a podium position of 3rd overall for the Junior class of the tour.

I have been racing at National level for a couple years now, which requires a whole new level of riding. Last month I got my highest position at the Bridgestone British Nationals meeting, coming 6th Overall.

I’m hoping to finish inside the top 10 at the end of the season.

I’ve won the local Club Championship two years running, and hoping to make it a 3rd year this year.

I have lots of favourite places to ride, but my favourite place to race is Foxhills MX track. It’s a well known ex-grand prix circuit near Swindon, first opened in the 1980’s. It’s a fast and technical track with lots of big jumps - just the way I like it!

But to be honest, if I’m on my motocross bike anywhere I’m happy!

Current FOCUS

I am focused on finishing my last year riding a 65cc on a high! So have the top 10 at the Bridgestone British Nationals in my sights, along with another win for the Junior class at local Club level!
