I started climbing in September 2016 after several years of gymnastics. Spotted by my now coach Richard Coupland at an open day at a local Climbing Centre in Swindon, I joined the Boulder South West Squad and train for Bouldering (with no harness) and Lead Climbing (with harness).

Since then I have finalled, reached podiums and won various open competitions and leagues, including the finals of the UK’s Youth Climbing Series which took place in Scotland in April. I came 13th in the country just 18 months since I started climbing training.

I love climbing because it’s a constant challenge. It continuously challenges me to solve problems in my own way. The community is also amazing. Everyone is so supportive of one and another and it makes the sport even more enjoyable!
